Our Headquarters

Lingualink Solutions is located in Miami Florida. This vibrant city is a major center leader in finance, commerce, culture, arts, and international trade. The location has proven to be a Hub of cultures and languages that satisfies the demand of our clients. In Miami we find a company gateway to Europe, Latin America, North America and Asia. In this sense, there is a considerable amount of people living here whose mother tongue is not English and we have the privilege of having several of them on our team.

SIMULTANEOUS

When the interpreter translates the speaker’s words into another language while the latter is still speaking, is known as simultaneous interpretation. When this type of interpretation is given, the interpreter is usually placed in a soundproof booth using headphones to listen to the speaker. At the same time, his words are interpreted by speaking into a microphone. The participants, called receivers, who wish to listen to the interpretation, can do so through headphones. Simultaneous interpretation is common in lectures, conferences and hearings. We have years of experience in this type of activity. This happens when an individual or a small group requires the translation of the speech. The linguist has the task of whispering the translation directly and exclusively to the small target audience. This is also called whispering and is generally carried out by a single interpreter. Our team has been responsible for chuchotage in expositions, presentations and business negotiations in Europe, North and South America. All our clients are important no matter their size. HOW CAN I REQUEST A QUOTE?

Let us know all specifications and details by mail or on the quote form. Some specific instructions may include words you do not wish to translate, phrases that must be translated in a specific way, and public to whom the document is aimed.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Yes, depending on the volume of the document, it is possible to grant a discount. We also offer special rates for frequent customers.

HOW ARE INTERPRETATION SERVICES REQUESTED?

Interpreting services are arranged in advance. Interpreting can be on site, by telephone, Skype or any other means available to the client.

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR THE INTERPRETER TO TRAVEL?

Yes, our interpreters are able to travel, prior agreement between Lingualink International and the client. For simultaneous interpreting at conferences, you must inform if headphones and soundproof booths are needed.

DO YOU DO TRANSLATIONS AND INTERPRETATIONS FOR THE SAME DAY?

We do translations for the same day, these services have a surcharge for being an express service. We do not provide same day interpreting services because this activity requires a prior logistics.

CAN YOU SEND THE TRANSLATION IN EXCEL?

Yes, the turnaround conditions are previously agreed with the client before starting the translation. We can also translate in different formats such as Photoshop, HTML, and other uncommon formats. We do this because Lingualink uses state-of-the-art technology.

I CONTRACTED INTERPRETING SERVICES FOR 2 HOURS, BUT I WILL NEED THEM FOR 3 HOURS HOW CAN I EXTEND THE TIME?

This type of situation is common. If you require an interpreter for longer than the agreed time, Lingualink will charge for the additional time this service is used.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

Lingualink International is a worldwide company therefore, we have different national and international payment methods. We also accept PayPal, international credit and debit cards. Under no circumstances do we accept cash or checks.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT LINGUALINK OUTSIDE OF OFFICE HOURS?
